After an advanced skin analysis with our Observe skin scanner Terry or Sarah will run the professional-grade Dermapen 4™ device over your skin in a series of rapid movements. The whisper-fine yet powerfully strong needles oscillate as it moves, penetrating the top layers of your skin vertically. A specialty serum called a Meso-Glide is used to help the Dermapen glide without dragging your skin. At the same time, the actives are needled into the deeper layers of skin.  

The needles of a professional Dermapen are adjustable and can reach depths of up to 3mm. Following the treatment, your body responds by creating new collagen and elastin fibres. Your skin is visibly more plump, reducing the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and fine lines. And that’s just the start. 

We start by cleansing your skin and applying CLINIPREP a revolutionary antimicrobial solution that’s gentle on your skin. We then apply the Meso-Glide and chosen DP Dermaceuticas serum to your skin. The Dermapen 4’s multi-speed and adjustable-depth needle settings pierce the skin at 90 degrees and increase the absorption of DP Dermaceuticals  skincare products. 

After the procedure we apply the Uber Pro Peel which contains a specific blend of treatment actives to increase cellular turnover while addressing the signs of ageing, dyschromia, hyperpigmentation, melasma, milia and acne. To boost your results even further we apply a Lumafuse sheet mask which instantly hydrates the skin and is packed with revitalising active ingredients such as Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract and Liquorice Root Extract.

We finish the treatment off with a Hyla Active 3D Sculpting Mask to reduce inflammation, and calm visible redness.

You may experience mild redness and inflammation, like a mild sunburn. Effects may last for 12-48 hours and there may be pinpoint bleeding. You may notice your skin is slightly dryer or acne and pigmentation is worse in the 5-10 days following. This is called the proliferation phase. It’s normal and a sign that your procedure is working. Within several days to several weeks, you will notice a smoother, brighter, and more radiant appearance, with the full effects of the treatment continuing several months and even a year later.

The Dermapen 4 is designed to be a fast, safe and effective treatment, although in the past topical anaesthetics have been used prior to these treatments they are no longer recommended as they can create a barrier on the skin, minimising results. We've treated even the most self proclaimed wimpy clients who have said the results outweigh any sensation felt. Its a surprisingly quick and manageable treatment to have. 

We always recommend a course of treatment for enhanced results and to lay the foundation for future treatments. A course of 4-6 treatments is best. However a single treatment can also be taken for maintenance.
